Stratford-Upon-Avon in the United Kingdom hosted the Adventure Stratford Overland Show 2015. Three days of enjoyment, everything overland you need or want to know – you can find it in Stratford. Starting from the smallest motorbikes to huge 8×8 Tatras.
West Coast Off Road company was there too. Based in Southport, West Coast Off Road (WCOR) is run by brothers Paul and Tom Lundstrom. Some may recognise Paul from Ultra 4 Europe, where he co-drives for Rob Butler in the Off Road Armoury Eurofighter Buggy.
Paul also has a very capable Toyota Land Cruiser which he built and races in Rally Raid and Comp Safari events, both in the UK and abroad. This experience combined with numerous tried and tested overland trips of their own mean they know what works and what doesn’t. A wealth of knowledge gained over the years mean they will only supply and fit equipment which they would be happy to fit to their own vehicles with peace of mind it will work and stand up to the job intended.
This was a great opportunity for WCOR to present their new partnership with COMEUP winches. WCOR is the new UK agent.
The Adventure Overland Show was an ideal opportunity for WCOR to display their Toyota Hilux and two Toyota 80 series Land Cruisers. As the UK importers for Ironman 4×4 products from Australia and agents for COMEUP winches (the only winch used by Arctic Trucks, who built the famous red Toyota Hilux Jeremy Clarkson took to the North Pole) show visitors were able to see the products for themselves and talk through requirements to kit out their vehicle.
