After the spectacular images of the King of the Hammers reached us via streaming and various video clips posted online, the season of the 2015 Ultra4 Series and Ultra4 Europe is officially open with the publication of the new regulations.

The locations are confirmed: France, Italy, Portugal and Wales. There are news regarding rules and regulations; This year, for the 1st time each event will be insured by the same company so there will be uniformity in the whole championship.

The ranking opens doors to new categories in the race to allow fans to choose their class. After you read the rules, the organization hopes that you can find your own space in the Championship.

The new division of categories:

  • UTV – Stock, tires max 35″, power steering, no full hydro
  • Modified, tires max 37″, power steering, no full hydro
  • Legend, tires max 37″, full hydro or power steering
  • Ultra4, fabrication without limits.

By opening of the UTV class in Europe, the organization will try to make it possible for everyone to compete. The sport is very popular, including a huge market of spare parts and aftermarket equipment.


The vehicles in the race will start in pairs, side by side. Routes will be shorter but with more laps.
There will also be some double sections of the route, for winching or brute power.

The races will become great festivals with tents, exhibitions and shops.
The cost of registration will be confirmed shortly, but there will be no major differences.

 

The whole purpose of the championship is to make the events available for everyone.

22/24 May France
19/20 June Italian
6/9 August Wales
23/26 September Portugal
