It was just an ordinary stock 2008 Suzuki Jimny. Jake from Australia bought it in 2013 with just 15 000 km on the clock.
We surprised you a few times with various vehicles our friends sent us. Maybe you’ve read about the SOL T1 buggy, Project Revolver, Jeep from Puerto Rico, Edgar’s Jeep JK or maybe the French Rockbouncer and the FAB10 buggy.
Here’s another one, a Suzuki Jimny Extreme by Jake Brandon Taylor!
Jake insisted to tell us a bit more about the sound system he installed, well we can’t argue with that. Great music always helps out there in the field. But we’ll get to that later.
There’s also some tough 4×4 equipment installed.
- 80 mm Tough Dog lift kit
- WARN VRS 9500 lb Winch
- LED light bar
- Rock sliders
- Custom bullbar
- Full exhaust system (extractors, hi flow cat and performance 2″ muffler)
- Currently there’s an Automatic Jimny transfer case which has slightly lower ratios.
- AND the cute part, engine conversion, 1.8 liter. Soon to be supercharged. Now that’s something we would like to see and hear.
And here’s the music part: UHF radio. He overhauled the entire sound system, DVD player, bluetooth audio, iPod Connectivity.
6*9 JL Audios in the rear, 5.25″ JL Audios in front and Kicker Twin L7 sub woofer.
A Sierra (Samurai) transfer case coming soon, swaping to a non VVT gearbox, and the supercharged engine we mentioned earlier.
