Les Comes 2017 – 4×4 festival in Spain

More than 1,200 participants and thousands of visitors attended the  Les Comes 4X4 festival recently. Les Comes 2017 established itself as one of the most important 4×4 vehicle events in Europe. The 6th edition of the exhibition exceeds 10.000 attendees and twelve hundred participant vehicles.

The spirit of the Dakar Tour came with the exhibitions of Dakar BFGoodrich. Those were one of the star activities of the weekend thanks to the participation of the Pilots Gerard De Rooy, third classified in Dakar Truck 2017, Isidre Esteve, Xavi Foj, Jordi Juvanteny, Pep Sabater, Cristina Gutiérrez and Santi
Navarro. Thanks to them the public vibrated with the power and speed of their vehicles at Les Comes 2017 Dakar Tour.

At the Supertrack Pirelli and the Dakar Conference Nani Roma and Moi Torrallardona joined with Albert Llovera and Ariel Jaton. Amongst other activities, that one has been the most visited by the public.

Les Comes 4×4 Festival sets a new record of attendance and reaffirms itself as an active and important 4×4 meeting in Europe. Both days, Saturday and Sunday there was 900 cars on tracks, the limit set by the organisation to maintain the overall quality of the event.

The event has gained international fame with participants from France, Portugal, Belgium, England, Germany, Italy,
Switzerland and Norway, the international representation grows year by year.

The BFGoodrich Dakar Exhibition, one of the most expected activities, counted with a special guest, third classified
Dakar Truck 2017 driven by Gerard De Rooy. The trucks of Jordi Juvanteny and Pep Sabater, together with the cars
of Xavi Foj, Isidre Esteve and Cristina Gutiérrez, and the buggy of Santi Navarro made the public enjoy. This year the visitors also had the opportunity to see exhibited the Acciona, the first electric car which has ever finished the Dakar.

Almost all pilots shared their Dakar experiences in a massive Conference on Saturday night, where journalist Noel Rodríguez and presenter Marc Martín of the Catalan and Spanish Dakar TV programme. As a novelty, the Spanish Rally all terrain Championship was presented.

The audience was thrilled by the qualifying time of the Supertrack Pirelli participants and their ability to overcome obstacles. Other activities that had great success were RC-Crawler, classical vehicle Exhibition, BFGoodrich tire workshop and the 4×4 Tour where visitors could see different places and tracks of Les Comes.

During this edition, all assistants have witnessed very well equipped cars, with great additions that improve their Off-road capabilities, amongst them the Ultra4 Europe 2015 winner.
The trade fair has gathered thousands of visitors that enjoyed all the news that more than 50 exhibitors presented at this great motor event. The number of companies presented at the commercial area has grown each year, and the organisation has expanded its trade area to host them all.

The adventure zone and the children’s play area have given a family oriented feel to the whole event.
