The Maxxis Tyres King of Wales 2015 (Valleys) will be taking place once more at Walters Arena, Glyn Neath, Wales over the weekend of 7-9 August. Entries are coming in thick and fast and support from the offroad industry is growing.
Its not only the name that has changed. This year KOW 2015 is being managed by someone in the off-road community we all know and respect. He even speaks the local language! Jason ‘Nobby’ Morgan has a proven track record and will bring to King of Wales 2015 the dimension that has been missing. Also the course is changing. Just like golf courses bring in professionals to design, Ultra4 have done the same. We are very pleased to have Chris Bowler on the team. He promises to test all of you, especially in the Maxxis Bowl!
We will have Ultra4, Legend, Modified, Stock and UTV classes this year. All racing the same course apart from a couple of bypasses for the Stock and UTV racers. All racers will run a course of 15km, lapping until you have completed 120 – 165km depending on class – longer than it has ever been.
Series marketing partners King Off Road Racing Shocks, Euro4x4 Parts, Outback Import, Allisport and Wilderness Lighting are joined by additional event sponsors: Gigglepin Winches, Off-Road Armoury, Goodwinch, Wooldridge demolition.
There will be a new caterer on site, Philon Parpottas and his family cooking up scrumptious delights from their Bar B King kitchen.
