Team Fab-10 is an off road team from Italy. They live for Ultra4. I stand corrected, they live for King of the Hammers. One of the very few European teams to finish the KOH.
Unfortunately, this year the toughest off road race wasn’t their destiny.
Fabio Manno, the driver has a colorful history of his own. His passion for windsurfing in his younger days brought him to Hawaii,
he stayed there for quite a while and then he modified hist first Chevy. It was a rock-crawling prototype and he finished 2nd on his first event – Hawaii’s Top truck Challenge.
He made a life-long friendship with Jeff Bergemann, now his co-driver. After that, he moved back to his motherland and started an Italian fabrication shop called Fab10 off road.
Jeff Bergemann started Maui Off Road years ago, now selling top quality 4×4 parts and fabrications. At the moment he is racing
a custom made 2000 Grand Cherokee at Kaleaaloha Raceway , it’s a mixture of autocross and dirt events.
Fabio says: “Jeff is very important for the team. His experience, sincerity, humor and personality are a large part of our team’s cohesion and success.”
The Fab10 Buggy they are racing is custom made, based on a chrome-moly tubular chassis with all the top notch quality parts such as: Turnkey LS2 engine, Hughes tranny, Dana 60 Pro Rock front, Bf Goodrich KRT, Walker Evans rims, 32 gallon fuel safe cell, CTM shafts and u-joints, King Shocks, Griffin radiator, PWR coolers, Master Craft seats and a Warn 9.5 winch.
And now the best part. This buggy is now for sale! You can contact the guys HERE!
