Outdoor adventure means so many things to so many different people. But the heart of it all is a deep seated passion to explore the experience, the opportunities and the environment.
The Australian 4×4 and Marine Expo brings together the elite of the outdoor industries and a diversity of overlapping communities, all with a thirst for adventure from March 6-8 at Manly Boat Harbour, Brisbane.
Featuring some of Australia’s best competitors from the Extreme Winch Challenge, the AusTruck Challenge will pit drivers against the clock in a series of time trail sprints on a specially designed course featuring off camber turns, difficult terrain, moguls, wombat holes and jumps.
With the tables turning on the sport, which has traditionally been dominated by males, Warwick’s Emily Taylor will be behind the wheel of her pink Toyota 75 Series Cruiser while her partner Chris Cahill, who also races, assumes the role of navigator for the weekend.
The Australian 4×4 and Marine Expo will bring two unique off-road racing features to the iconic Manly Boat Harbour foreshore for the inaugural event on March 6-8.
The Adventure Track presented by Oricom, will host the AusTruck Challenge and Queensland Quad Riders Association, with a schedule of heats for each series to be held daily as part of the event.
