EXC Final Event!

After five stages between the tracks of extreme off road in Europe (Wales, Italy, Portugal and France), the first European Championship has decreed the champions of 2016 season.

Italian brothers Arrigucci/Arrigucci (Team Evolution 4×4) and French Fernandes/Fernandes (father and son of Team Fernandes Brothers) have won the overall title in the Prepared and Prototypes categories. Both crews have faced EXC paths showing great determination, as well as performance of their vehicles, winning the final of Aquila d’Arroscia. This event saw the participation of 17 crews from Italy, France, Portugal and United Kingdom.

Twelve difficult special stages set up on the hinterlands of Imperia realised by Riky Pisani, among the most experienced specialist of this 4WD race. The award ceremony, which took place in the closed park in the square near “Al Sole” hotel of Aquila d’Arroscia, saw the presence of organizers, authorities and sponsors that with their precious collaboration made possible this championship.

Final Event of Aquila d’Arroscia assigned first place to Team Spider with a total time of 113’10” before Arrigucci (120’49”) and Morandini (123’03”). The placements reported in Ligurian three days decreed the final ranking reserved to the crews participating to the EXC 2016.
