As usual, the Night Stage (sponsored by Wilderness Lights) is scheduled on the same day as the Trophy Day. Due to some problems regarding the Adventure class, start of the hard-core Trophy class was delayed for a few hours.
But it didn’t affect the quality of Croatia Trophy 2015 Night Stage.
Jim Marsden and Wayne Smith (Gigglepin) are still overall leaders. So here’s what they said: “Night stage was amazing! Due to troubles in Adventure class the start for the Trophy class was pushed back to 12.15am.
The course was awesome! Fast and slippery forest sections with a huge water meadow and steep winch climb. I love these night sections and thrive on the danger and the speed. This year we were using Lazer High Performance Lighting, new Triple R elites and simply wow!!! Game changers!
What i won’t be doing again is wearing glasses with yellow lens. They went out of the window around 5km!
We started fifth and finished first. A great result. Today is race day so we are now busy prepping the car. Wish us luck!”
