Good Morning Biedrusko! After the tough night stage the camp is waking up for the fourth stage of the Rallye Breslau Poland. The riders and teams are full of stories and share their “Breslau rallye 2015 Lazer night stage” adventures. Today we look forward to 151 kilometers of special stage on the Biedrusko Polygon and we will be reporting directly!
This night was for the Breslau! 72 kilometers on roadbook with incredible navigation and spectacular driving for both classes. That is the Lazer Night Challenge and it does not come easy.
‘We got lost at the third tulip,’ said Jim Marsden, summarizing his adventure in the Extreme Car category. ‘But the leading Cross Country car came back to the start right when we had to leave, so he was in a world of pain too!’
Navigating in the forest is one of the toughest things to do, because as soon as you miss a crossing you are lost. ‘Yes, this happened to us,’ Raz Heymann grins. ‘And we got stuck somewhere where no other car or truck would pass. After a lot of digging we managed to get unstuck and we thought all chances of a good result were lost. But no, here we are as first car at the finish!’
Searching in the night, on a precise but incredibly difficult roadbook, cars coming from all directions and lights and sound everywhere. At night the stage is different, the routes are different and good lights make all the difference. Lazer Lamps selected a point in the Extreme Car and Truck roadbook with deep watercrossings in thick clay. The extreme roadbook is seperate from the Cross Country, so the organisers can push and make it tougher for this class.
Lazer Lamps offers a trophy to the winners of the Lazer Night Challenge, to the teams who have conquered and won this incredible stage in the Rallye Breslau Poland 2015.
